The William Blake Institute (WBI) is a branch of the Uni-tàs Council Inc (UCI) based in Ashland, Oregon. The WBI shares the mission of the UCI through supporting the followers of the legendary poet/artist William Blake through celebrating his visionary work, message, and values and inspiring a new generation of creative, soulful imagineers.

We believe that the core of William Blake's message regarding reality, creativity and imagination is central to our collective humanity and therefore essential wisdom for future generations.

One sunny day in May Beca Blake found a flyer announcing academic studies centered on the works of William Blake offered at the Hermeticus Bookshop in Ashland, Oregon. Upon attending a class, Blake met with Professor Allen Ensign and the two naturally aligned out of their shared admiration for the visionary works of William Blake.

The William Blake Institute developed when the two identified common mission and goals pertaining to supporting communities who benefit from the inspirational works and messaging so profoundly created by William Blake of Soho, London, born in 1757 and baptized at the Piccadilly Church.
